| Tom Svendsen Tom is the owner of Lone Star Custom Pits and Grills, Inc. and for the past couple of decades, he owned and operated a real estate sales and development company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From his many years of experience in these businesses, he understands the importance of customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction will always be his number one priority. Although he is relatively new to the BBQ pit building world, he is confident that he has assembled a first rate team. Starting with Steve "Bates" Bateman, their master pit builder and production team leader. Many of you may remember Steve as the owner and operator of "Bates Pitts". Steve is known to be among the finest craftsman in the pit building world. Steve came to realize that he was spreading himself too thin, trying to handle both the business end and the production end of his business. To the good fortune of Lone Star C P & G, he decided to join their team and to focus on where his real talent lies, that is building the finest BBQ pits anywhere.
